Summer Reading

Are you reading something this summer that you want to share with others? Add your comments about your reading choices at this blog. Right now, I am reading a cozy little mystery that takes place among the Pennsylvania Dutch. It is a fun book, very relaxing and a bit humorous. The title is "Hell Hath No Curry" by Tamar Myers. Book even has some recipes.

I find these short, little books just the things in the summer.

Also, may I recommend "The Road From Spink" by Marge Flados. She spoke at our library last week and was wonderful. Many of you would enjoy this book. Remember, our summer program for adults starts next week. Play Library Mystery Bingo and win a prize.

Currently, I am reading a book about leprosy in Hawaii. Excellent historical book.
I have just finished "Whistling Season" and loved it. Of course, I attended a one-room school and could identify with much of what I read. The author does a great job with setting and also characterization. We really meet lovable rogues in this novel.
