I'm reading "An Irish Country Doctor". It's a detailed story about the life of s first year GP in rural Northern Ireland in the 1960s. The author, Patrick Taylor, provides an in-depth description of the green beauty and peace of the rural Ballybucklebo countryside. My question, if you have been anywhere in Ireland and/or Northern Ireland, do the places and/or villages really have such interesting and tongue-twisting names?
Welcome to the Hawarden Public Library's Book Discussion Blog!!!Now you can join us at our regular meeting or join us in the virtual world!!!!We hope that many of you will share what you have been reading and also log in this summer and recommend good reads.
Everyone should read! I like mysteries, biographies, and nonfiction--especially current events.
I am also an animal lover--especially cats--can you tell? I have three that keep us company at home.

I only know that the names from the books I have read etc. do have that type of name.
